Go Al, Go!

As if it weren't already ludicrous enough that Al Franken has consistently kept gaining votes to even the gap between he and his opponent, Minnesota Senator Coleman, it's being reported that he's now only 204 votes behind Coleman... a shift of another 17 votes.

Second thought, scratch that. Now it's at 209 votes. See?! It's gonna fluctuate a bit today...

Apparently, Hennepin County — a reliably Democratic county — is completing its routine post-election canvass today. This will almost definitely shift some votes from Coleman to Franken, further narrowing Coleman’s lead as we closer to the state-mandated recount. I'm not sure how much more shifting will occur before the recount, but I hear odds are excellent that Franken will win after all the votes have been counted.
