So... Sarah Palin is on record as saying:
"A changing environment will affect Alaska more than any other state, because of our location. I'm not one though who would attribute it to being man-made."
She apparently believes in global warming, but ignores the science that shows how burning oil and coal greatly contribute to it, and therefore doesn't believe we can really stop it... which kind of makes clean energy pointless, from her P.O.V.
But she also stood on stage nodding appreciatively, as her pastor said:
"there are some things about the natural resources . . . that God wants to tap into to be a refuge for the lower 48 . . . and I believe that Alaska is one of the refuge states... in the Last Days. . . and hundreds of thousands of people are going to come to this state to seek refuge and the church has to be ready to minister to them."
So basically, her pastor believes that it's God's will that we tap into oil, natural gas, coal, etc. And if that leads to global warming and to Americans being forced to flee north as a result... well... that's God's will as well!
And Iraq? In her own words, that was "God's will" too!
Just think... a McCain / Palin administration would mean never having to say "I'm sorry"... just blame God for everything!
