I don't think most people realize what an accomplishment this is... having everything work with software-based load balancing means that we should be fine until at least 800,000 users, at which point we'll need to start thinking about hardware load balancing. Other than that, all we have to do is get the Alpha, keep getting cheap little webservers, set up redundancy for load balancing and the upcoming image server, upgrade storage with a nice big RAID... that kind of stuff. Problems that aren't really major and that we can actually control!
