Fifteen million Iraqis agree... killing Americans is A-okay!
Presumably that translates out into pretty much all of the Sunni, very few of the Kurds, and half of the Shi'a. These figures are up from 17% in 2004 and about 35% last year and come from a new poll commissioned by ABC, the BBC, etc.
Other telling factlets:
64% describe their family's economic situation as being very or somewhat bad, up from 30% in 2005.
88% describe electricity as being either somewhat or very bad, up from 65% in 2004.
69% describe the availability of clean water as somewhat or very bad, up from 48% in 2004.
88% describe fuel for cooking and driving as being somewhat or very bad.
58% describe reconstruction efforts in the area in which they live as either very or somewhat ineffective.
...another 9% describe them as being totally nonexistent.
