Stories of the fallen.

Some will say that we've lost far more for lesser things. Some will say that the loss is too painful to bear.

For the sake of this post, though, I don't want to discuss what is right or wrong or whether this conflict is justified or not. I don't want this post to be political at all.

Instead, if you've lost someone in Iraq whose life effected yours in any way, I would like you to leave a comment. I'd like you to share their names. I don't care whether they're a soldier or a contractor, an aid worker or an Iraqi.

I'd like you to share your stories of them, of how they lived and how they died, of their funerals and memorials, and of the loss to their families, friends, and loved ones.

I'd like you to remember them, and to share your memories with everyone else.
