Aerial. The first Kate Bush album in twelve years, and a two-CD art-rock influenced concept album to boot. The '70s meet the '00s, apparently. If it weren't for the clever, rocklike waveform on the cover juxtaposed against the sunset, it would even appear to be a '70s prog rock album cover.
Her new single, "King of the Mountain", was recently aired over in Britain. Fortunately, someone online has made available a fairly decent recording of the radio broadcast, which should hold the diehards over until the release of the CD single later on this month. The album will be released worldwide in early November.
