Fox News' novel experiment -- reality.

If you haven't seen the video of Shepard Smith and Geraldo Rivera broadcasting live from the Convention Center in New Orleans on Fox News' Hannity and Colmes, you should.

I never liked either Rivera or Smith as reporters, but damn... they were obviously overwhelmed and outraged by what was going on at the Convention Center. The difference between the reality and the conservative fantasy had to have opened a lot of people's eyes.

Food and medical care is all well and good, but let's face it... those people need out of that place immediately. None of the food supplies arrived for these people, but even if they did have food, they'd still be overcrowded in a building with no ventilation, forced to live in their own filth, and surrounded by dead bodies.

Instead, they're locked in there, and can't leave New Orleans. Who's brilliant idea was this?! If our people treated Iraqi prisoners like this, there'd be hell to pay... but these are Americans. Let them go... or help them to go NOW!
