As for keeping busy, today it was a concert with Ladysmith Black Mambazo, which was splendiferous in a very calming way. It felt like a quiet sense of oneness passed through the crowd. Not oneness in any preachy or political sense, but just the kind of quiet oneness that comes from a common sense of being human, of being a loving, caring being and and of being loved and cared for.
Something worth remembering perhaps, the next time someone cuts you off on the road. The asshole who cut you off probably loves, cares for, or watches out for another person with a strength and dedication that just might surprise you. If only we could be so good to each other.
So go get yourself a cuppa, watch a video by Ladysmith Black Mambazo (RealPlayer), listen to something on the BBC, or just take a nice long breath or three. It's all good.
