Wow.. that didn't take long, did it?

Kuwaiti firm willing to pull out of Iraq to save hostages.

"The most important thing for KGL is that the seven people arrive here safely and talk to their relatives, whatever that takes."

KGL is a big Kuwaiti company, with over 4000 employees. They deal with overseeing entire docks and their shipments, getting them where they need to go, even if Iraq is that place.

The question now is whether this will be enough for the hostage takers, or whether they will also want India and the other countries to do something to remove more of its people from Iraq.

Either way, the message is that terrorism works, if it is done effectively against the right target... and in this case, the target is civilian contractors. Real, tangible results have come as a reult of these tactics, so expect similar attacks in the future.

Dirty business, sure... but at least it beats carbombing your own people.
