They could have at least reported that prisoners gave statements to US military investigators of abuse at Abu Ghraib, claiming that a child was raped, but that it is unknown whether this was the same incident as Seymour Hersh claims to have seen.
It's listed as being syndicated by UPI, and came out two hours ago, but it's the only paper in the US that has picked up this story so far, according to Google News.
How strange. What's really odd is that the Washington Times is owned by Rev. Sun Myung Moon's Unification Church. From what I've heard, Moon loves the Bush Administration. I wonder whether this story will be killed in a few hours, or will take off bigtime. Guess we'll see...
