When Noressa arrived, she, Kirsten, and I chatted for awhile and lavished affection on the cats, then Kirsten took off to see a movie and gave the two of us time to hang out. It was a chilly day, so we had white tea, face to face, sitting close to each other on the hardwood floor in front of a nice warm fire. Leaning in for kisses was inevitable, of course. Definitely an "awww..." moment!
Kirsten returned from the movie and started some preparations for dinner, while Noressa and I ran off to Japantown before things closed and visited the Dobashi Market, where we loaded up on Japanese candies, mochi (mmmm.. I love the black sesame mochi!), wakame salad, and lots of other good things. On the way back, we passed the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, which Noressa hasn't been to -- definitely something for another trip!
We returned home, showed Kirsten our yummy finds, chatted a bit more, then all went into the hot tub. Lots of soaking and more conversation...! After we got out of the hot tub, we got started on the shrimp for the dinner. I sauteed them in butter, garlic, and hot Joe's Stuff, and served them on top of a taco salad that Kirsten had prepared. Mmmm!
By then, it was about 8:20 and getting a bit late, as Noressa had to drive back to Sacramento, but she and I got in some cuddle (and kissle!) time before she had to go. Hugs, kisses, and seeing her off to her car...
It'll be two weeks before we get a chance to see each other again, but that's ok. Things between us seem to work out effortlessly in a way that seems oddly amazing and perfect to me, but it all makes sense strangely enough. We find each other to be absolutely adorable and neither of us would have it any other way.
Sickening, isn't it?! ;-)
