Sex Workers Art Show

The Sex Workers Art Show is an entertaining cabaret-style event featuring music, spoken word, burlesque, video, poetry, performance art , and a visual art presentation that smashes traditional stereotypes in its portrayal of the complicated experiences of workers in the sex industry.

The lineup includes Ducky Doolittle ( duckydoo, a longtime LJ'er and well-known sex educator) , Michelle Tea, Scarlot Harlot, Erochica Bamboo, David Henry Sterry, and many others.

The Sex Workers Art Show will be appearing locally at Cafe Du Nord on Monday, Jan. 19th and will be touring nationally throughout the entire country over the next month. Check out their site for tourdates and further information.

I'll be there next Monday to see the show and cheer Ducky on. Should be an interesting night!
