Tao of Journals...

I read a journal entry the other day... can't remember where... that basically said how selfish and self-absorbed someone was for posting so many of their private thoughts out there without consideration for how it could effect friends/lovers who read their journal.

So... this question is for anyone who wants to respond. To what extent do you think it is proper to censor a journal? Many of my favorite sites are from people who are brutally and painfully open about their personal lives and relationships. I personally want to live an online existence that is open, revealing, and emotionally honest... able to make other people feel... but I can understand how people could be easily hurt. What do you think?!
