DNS - Do Not Surf.

I don't know what is going on with SBC. They seem determined to screw with my WWW mojo, and this is hardly the first time, either.

They're having more DNS problems, it appears... which wouldn't bother me so much if it didn't seem so intentional at times.

You see, SBC bundles their DSL service with Yahoo. (Or at least they'll try to if you let them...)

Fortunately, LiveJournal,, and that site with the guy who stretches out his anus were all still available to me through SBC/Yahoo's DNS. Infact, just about every website I could think of apart from large competing search engines was accessable! Nice to know they care.

So, using a smaller, inferior search engine, I managed to find Google's IP address and changed my bookmarks appropriately. Works great now, thanks.
