Does the media finally get it?!

I have been saying for a long time that the media hasn't been reporting casualties correctly. Well, it looks like Editor & Publisher, a press-oriented magazine, has reached the same conclusion, saying that the soldiers killed since May is three times the commonly-used media count.

They also cite , which has to be the first website I've seen that has a truely professional casualty count.

The site, btw, says 226 U.S. soldiers currently. This number is off, because they haven't checked in at the CENTCOM website for awhile. Two more soldiers have since been reduced to press releases, even if they haven't become statistics quite yet.
