They all work for me except Korean, which should work in theory. Hm...
I'm getting very interested in machine translation lately -- even thinking about seriously studying it. Posted an idea that I had regarding mechanical translation of RSS feeds to the RSS development list the other day to stir up some discussion and ideally get people interested in the idea.
If there is a feed out there in Japanese or Russian that I would like to read, I should have a way of adding a version of it that has been mechanically translated into English, and visa versa. Although I appreciate other languages and cultures, language barriers are a dangerous thing, in that they make it that much easier for governments to divide and control us. Expecting the rest of the world to learn English, however, is not a good solution. Far better to use technology to fix that which God hath destroyed.
"And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do."
Yeah. You got a problem with that, old man?!
