So... decided to experiment a bit and take a stab at making something similar to mulled wine. It's by no means an exact science, but it tastes wonderful.

Heat a bottle of sweet, light red on the stove... something sangria-friendly works well. Add chopped segments of pears, apples, and oranges, a bit of orange juice, some lemon juice, a bit of brown sugar, a bit of honey, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, allspice... do it all to taste, and add a little more orange juice or water if it's a bit too strong.

Big mug.... proceed to get warm and toasty. Mrrrrmmh!

Yeah. Definitely a drink to curl up with and grow tendrils around. Makes me crave cloves though. Tasty. Damn, damn tasty.
