Japanese hawkish PM plucked.

Japan's PM steps down over his insistance -- and the Japanese Diet's / senate's general refusal -- to continue to support the mission in Afghanistan.  Despite a recent cabinet reshuffle, the Japanese PM couldn't get his public support back above 30%.

I don't know about you, but it's good to see the Japanese turn their backs on militarism.  Legally stripping Japan of its military has been the best thing that ever happened to the Japanese people and their economy.

Interestingly enough, shares have risen in Japan in stocks linked to manga , based on speculation that the next prime minister could be an individual who is a big fan and supporter of the manga industry.

PM Otakusan?!
