They've got to be carefully taught.

A video has been released on the internet, showing members of the Iraqi Mujahideen visiting a school in Ramadi, handing out gifts to all the good boys and girls, and teaching them why they should love the insurgents and hate the Americans. Free pencil boxes for every kid that wants to grow up to drive out the infidels!

The video is available here.

A recent Frontline video was very clear -- the insurgency is starting to adopt some very American tactics. Foriegn-born terrorist leaders are gradually being replaced by Iraqi leaders, who are willing to adopt some very different and far more savvy tactics to gain mainstream support. This appears to be one of them.

Good thing we're willing to stick this occupation out for the forty or fifty years it could take to really make a difference, right?!

Because being GWB means never having to say "I'm sorry..."

At a press conference this morning, President Bush said that it's his intent that U.S. troops would remain in Iraq for at least another three years, through the end of his presidency in Jan. 20th, 2009.

According to Bush, the question of whether U.S. troops will ever leave Iraq "will be decided by future presidents and future governments of Iraq."

Remember how shrill and frothy the Republicans (and FoxNews) got when someone in the Bush administration (Rove, is that you?!) told the press that Clinton's people left a horrible, gutted mess in the White House? Remember how it wasn't true?

I'm sorry, but leaving Iraq for the next president to clean up is a bit worse than that.
