When spellcheckers attack!

Looks like a Reuters article on Iraq has been the latest unfortunate victim of spellchecking software.

From the article:

"The Americans . . . announced the deaths of two more U.S. Marines -- one in Baghdad and one in Ramada..."

Dammit. They took out the Ramada! Guess everyone will have to use the Sheraton.

Incidentally, this news story isn't the first one where the Ramada has been identified as an insurgent stronghold. Watch out for room service suicide bombers.

It might interest you to note that the Ramada is also widely known as the place to go if you like to celebrate with ritual fasting and prayer.

Journalists need to get out of their hotel rooms more often.
