Tony Blair's Fawlty government.

My favorite Fawlty Towers episode "The Germans", has made it into British politics.

Alan Simpson, MP for Nottingham South and chairman of Labour Against the War, accused Tony Blair's Labour Party leadership of trying to silence dissent.

"The party has pursued the Basil Fawlty line. The basic instruction is, whatever you do, 'don't mention the war'."

Simpson is one of seventeen Labour Party MPs who have turned their back on Blair by signing a resolution indicating that they "will do everything in (their) power to bring the occupation of Iraq to an end."

Really?! Then perhaps they should consider switching parties.

Labour against the war == Log Cabin Republicans.
