Bush administration endorses federal discrimination against gays.

I wrote about this before, but the axe has finally fallen. Every gay and lesbian federal employee has just lost their protection from discrimination.

The Bush Administration did this despite the fact that a 1998 executive order by President Clinton is technically still in effect, declaring it unlawful to discriminate against federal civilian employees based on their sexual orientation.

Personally, I think this merits a major response. Perhaps every gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered person in the United States (along with those who support them) should refuse to pay taxes to the current administration... or that protesters should simply shut the government down. Either way, it's pretty clear at this point that the government has ceased to apply the law fairly on the behalf of all its citizens.

"I'm a uniter, not a divider..."

Yeah, right. Tell us more lies.
