It was a night out they were going to remember for a very long time...

Several of you know that for the past several Tuesdays, Kirsten and I have had open house gatherings at our place with friends, general wellwishers, and people who just want something to do in the middle of the week. Well, we're having another one this Tuesday too.

We usually plan on watching movies or playing games, but it usually turns into general socializing, snacks, listening to music, flirting, and burning stuff outside in our chiminea. People do what they feel like doing, really. The general atmosphere is kind of postmodern-paganistic-geeky-gothy-worldly-arabesque-openminded-omnisexual-ultraaccepting with a tendency towards the frivilous.

It's a party. No, it's an intimate social gathering. Well, actually it's both. It's a place to be with old friends, or to make new ones. People tend to bring and share stuff at the party (food, drink, combustibles, energy, themselves), but nobody goes overboard because none of us are exactly rich. Participation is encouraged, and is, infact, a good thing.

This Tuesday, the theme is "punch and pie"... which is another way of saying that we have an apple pie in the freezer, and we probably do have some punch somewhere... though we're usually well stocked with tea, italian sodas, coffee, hot chocolate, juices, wine, vodka, rum, whiskey, mead, and of course, water in both hot and cold form.

The gathering will be Tuesday @ 7ish until sometime around midnight.
We're always looking for fresh meat new blood, so please RSVP/request directions by either emailing me at insomnia @ livejournal dot com or replying to this post with your e-mail address if you need directions!
